I’ve always had a passion for making sure people with different abilities have the best possible opportunity to live a full, meaningful and happy life. As a mum to my two beautiful children, Alex and Ben, who are adults now but will always be my babies, this passion is deeply personal to me.

What makes me proudest is that we operate as a genuine non-profit and for-purpose community. We do what we do because it matters, and because it truly makes a difference in people’s lives.

I’ve always wanted to work somewhere where my input genuinely made a difference to others. Being here gives me that opportunity every day, and I’m proud to be part of an organisation that is focused on people, purpose and meaningful outcomes.

What surprises people most when they meet me is that I may be calm and composed, but I’m always watching, listening and making sure things are moving in the right direction.

I’ve always wanted to be part of a community where we do life together, and thanks to Great Mates, it’s been that since inception. What surprises people most when they meet me in person is that I’m 196cm tall (and have a huge personality to match).
